Working with the media
Two resources have been developed to support frequent and high quality reporting of family violence in the news media. 'Speak Up - Use the media to prevent family violence' is a media manual for community agencies.
Reporting Domestic/Family Violence provides guidelines for reporters.
Community action toolkit
This resource has been developed to support communities to reduce and prevent family violence. It has ideas for community projects, facts and figures and examples of success stories.
Business toolkit
Good for Staff – Good for Business is information about how employers can raise understanding of family violence and support employees affected by it.
Local Government toolkit
Local government can play an important part in helping to raise awareness and understanding of family violence. This information includes key messages, case studies and learnings from councils already involved with the campaign.
