It’s not OK Champions Farewelled

13 October 2011

The It's not OK Campaign would like to acknowledge the contribution made to preventing family violence by Sir Paul Reeves and Reverend Lapana Faletolu who both passed away recently.

Sir Paul and Rev Lapana appeared in the Campaign's first set of TV ads which named a range of behaviours that are not OK.

They also appeared in Campaign posters and other resources.

The ads were launched in September 2007 and featured a range of high profile New Zealanders saying Family Violence is not OK.

The goal of the ads was to show that family violence is not ‘just the bash' and that thousands of New Zealanders are affected every year.
