Sometimes it takes time

Jenni is a 35yr old woman who had returned for her second series of counselling sessions.  She is now ready to begin to start taking steps to leave the violent relationship she has been in for years.  She told her counsellor ‘it is not ok the way he behaves, I deserve better’. The community messages about what is ok and what is not is supporting this woman to make changes.
