Media Manual

This manual has been produced to support community agencies to use the news pages and bulletins of their local media to raise awareness about family violence.

Most of us don’t use violence, we need to stand up and speak out in our communities so that those who do get the message that violence won’t be tolerated.

This resource has been developed as part of a media training workshop delivered to communities all around New Zealand since August 2006.

It provides tips, examples and strategies for working with media outlets.
