Community Action Fund
Round Four of the Community Action Fund is now open.
Closing date is 31 March 2009.
The Community Action Fund supports projects in New Zealand communities to change attitudes and behaviours that ignore, excuse, minimise or trivialise the effects of family violence.
Key messages are:
• family violence is preventable - attitudes and behaviours can change
• preventing family violence is a public issue - it's everyone's business
• community action changes the way we think about family violence.
The fund is targeted at small scale community initiatives.
In this round projects that make protecting children and older people everyone's business will be prioritised.
Take a look at the projects funded around the country in round one , round two and round three of the Community Action Fund.
